The Challenge
Barbershop software charges per barber, per shop, and puts its own name on the app your clients download. A shop that grows from one location to ten ends up paying thousands a month and still does not own its client list or its brand inside the app. We had already built the fix for The Spot. The question was whether it could work for every other shop too.
Our Approach
- Kept every shop-specific setting (name, colors, phone lines, locations) in settings instead of code, so the same system runs any brand.
- Bundled what shops usually buy separately: booking, register, client app, barber app, payroll, memberships, loyalty points and marketing.
- Set one flat price per shop with no per-barber fee, no setup fee and no contract, and published it.
- Built two iOS apps, Booking for clients and Team for barbers and front desk, plus an iPad kiosk mode.
- Launched pa-pos.com with a live white-label preview, product screens, honest side-by-side pricing and a demo request form, with search and AI-readable structure from day one.
The Outcome
pa-pos.com went live in October 2026 with The Spot Barbershop as the first client and all 24 of its shops set up with history. For a 10-shop brand with 8 barbers per shop, Papos costs $990 a month, less than half of what the big platforms charge for the same features.
